About Us
Our Beginning: Space Coast Jeep Club was founded on the beach in 2013 at the Jeep Beach Event on a Sunday ride. Since that time the Space Coast Jeep Club has grown and changed over the course of the past five years to the club it is today. Who We Are: Space Coast Jeep Club is an organized non-profit 501(c)(3). based out of Brevard County Florida. We currently have around 250 members, this includes the Jeep Owner, Spouse, and Family. We are a Military Friendly Organization all Active duty military personnel receive a complimentary club membership. We also strive to keep our club a family-friendly environment. We support civic activities and protect all local, state, and federal resources. Space Coast Jeep Club is sensitive to the environments we ride in. This is why we are members guided by the Principles of Tread Lightly. We Travel Responsibly, Respect the Rights of Others, Educate ourselves, Avoid Sensitive Areas, and Do our Part. This is extremely important to all responsible Jeep clubs so that we will have open land available for use to explore and enjoy with our Jeeps in the present and also in the future.
Space Coast Jeep Club has regular Meet and Greets at local Establishments throughout Brevard County, we have organized rides to most of the areas Wild Life Management Areas, the Ocala National Forest, and Hard Rock Off Road Park. We also do Cruizin Rides and Beach Invasions, yearly Christmas parade for City of Palm Bay, Poker Runs as well as Overnight Camping trips.
Members of our Club also frequent most of the area's Larger Events such as Jeeping with Sheriff Judd, Jeep Beach, Jeeptoberfest, and Krawlin for the Fallen. When the opportunity arises we also do out-of-state Events like Smokey Mountain Jeep Invasion in TN, roadtrips up to Gulches, Windsock and various other Off-Road Parks.
How We Support Our Community
Space Coast Jeep Club also Adopted a Section Of Highway US1 as Part of the Department of Transportations Keep Florida Beautiful Program. Our Area of Responsibility is from Just north of the Pineda Causeway to Subtree Blvd, About a 4 mile stretch. Being good stewards of the land so close to us, We Do quarterly Cleanups of this Area. We also pick local charities to donate our time and money to as well as a annual Poker Run benefiting four Local charities.
As one of our Founding Members had stated, "if we build it, just like a Jeep, keep it simple, keep it family orientated, and make sure everyone stays muddy, it would grow a life unto itself, and it did more than you could imagine."
Thank you and we wish you great trails ahead.
